In Ireland, during the Celtic Tiger era (1995-2008), loads of young fellas were racing around town in a heavily modified car that they spent most of their earnings from their part time jobs on, annoying people and impressing their mates.

After the infamous 2007/2008 recession, most of the boy racers moved to Australia and Canada and left their cars behind, marking the end of an era.

外围体育投注In Ireland today, they are still around in rural areas without much policing in much lower numbers because insurance companies hate modified cars and cars are very expensive. It is mostly done by young people in rural areas who haven't gone to college and the only other hobby is getting wasted in the pub.

Do/did these exist in your country and if so, how common are they?

Its not wildly popular in Spain, but definetely not unheard of. There's traditional recipees from almost everywhere in the country but they're especially prevalent in Catalonia (particulary Lleida). Most of them are stewed but you can find them roasted, baked or in the case of Bígaros just boiled over. The snails usually come with some strong sauce with a hint of spiciness, be it romescu in Catalonia or chupaero sauce in murcia.

Might sound weird but considering Europe has lots of important and memorable rivers, do you even like rivers?

I think the Loire and the Rhine are pretty cool
