外围体育投注Hi Everyone,

外围体育投注Last week I went to Brisbane with my friend. We stayed at an airbnb in South Brisbane that seemed to have a lot of good reviews. Our first problem was check in which was scheduled for 5pm but the host gave us half the check in instructions and refused to message us back or pick up the phone when we called.

On our second day of staying there I noticed some bug bited on my right hand and fingers and thought maybe its mosquitos bc QLD, idk. Then I saw 2 little red bugs on the bed and when I googled them it came up with clover mites and said that they were not dangerous so I wasnt worried. As the days went on more bites came up on my arm and I still didnt worry because I assumed they were clover mites. We checked out on Friday. By monday my whole body was covered in bites, breasts, legs, arms, neck, back, stomach, chest and bum. They were in groups of 3s consistent with a bed bug bite. I had never seen a bed bug, their bite or experienced this before.

外围体育投注I posted online asking how 2 clover mites could result in this much itch and redness and was told by 99% of the group they were bed bugs. I contacted the host who said 2 weeks prior to my stay they conducted carpet steaming, changing the linen and sprayed the bedroom for bed bugs. They did not replace the mattress or the bed base with wooden slats.

I opened a dispute with them on airbnb and they have so far refused to give us a refund for a place that should not have been listed at all. I then called airbnb who said because I reported this 2 days after checkout I cant get a refund but they can help with my dry cleaning bill. How will this help with my scarred skin from scratching the bites?

外围体育投注I then logged into the app and found a new review that was not there at the time of our booking of a woman complaining about bed bugs. Airbnb has a 14 day period before they publish a user review. If we had seen this review before we would not have booked this place. Another girl came to me and told me she checked into this airbnb the afternoon we checked out, stayed in the same room as me and she also got bit by bed bugs.

Can the ombudsman help with this? What can we do to get our money back? The host plans to do the exact same cleaning they did before which didnt work and taking on more bookings. This place should not be listed at all.

外围体育投注Based in QLD but issue probably applies to all states.

I'm assisting a friend with a workplace issue and thought I'd get some advice from others. So basically my friend started a new position recently and was being trained in the role. Turns out the person training him was really slack so by the end of the training period, my friend still wasn't able to do all the things he needed to do. However the manager seems to get on well with the trainer and has been treating my friend as if they were the problem and now directly 'trains' him. In the process, the manager has been quite hostile towards my friend by regularly implying he has problems learning or that he is no good at his job. The manager has also been nitpicking on things my friend does even though other colleagues are doing the same thing. As a result of this, my friend's performance has been inconsistent and he tends to perform worse when the manager is around. I've suggested a few things but he seems to be quite fearful of the manager retaliating against him if he were to speak up for himself or seek assistance from someone higher up. My instinct is that the manager will probably let him go but hopefully this may allow him to take further action. My friend has tried really hard to find a job like this so isn't wanting to leave as finding any job these days is quite hard.

外围体育投注I believe my friend's concerns about confronting the manager stem from a previous job he had where by he relocated and his then-manager turned on him by claiming he was fired for misconduct on the separation certificate he had to provide to Centrelink.

Any advice/ideas would be great.

Hi guys,

I work in the delivery deparment for a retail store in Melbourne. The store has closed due to stage 4 restrictions but I am still being asked to come to work since delivery is still allowed under stage 4.

外围体育投注I am more than happy to come to work but am very worried since I moved back in with my parents who are in their seventies. My workplace also had a positive case where I had to self isolate for 2 weeks.

I discussed my concerns during stage 3 restrictions but they still said i am required to come to work. I asked to work from home but was refused.

外围体育投注What are my options? If it is not safe for retail staff to come to work, how is it still safe for me?

Thanks in advance

I want to preface that up until the time in writing this post, my student and I do not have a formal contract in place. That's on me and I don't hold that to my student, I should have been proactive in writing one establishing my terms and conditions of Tuition.

外围体育投注In the future I will intend to require a minimum of 12 hours notice before my student can end their lesson without still having to pay for my time, as I have to travel an hour to their house to teach.

My concern is that if my student continues to lowball me what can I do to ensure I get my money and respect my time, as I realise taking them to court isn't worth the money simply for $50 dollar lesson.

Thank you for your time!
