外围体育投注That is so cute, but I hope he's also ready to run if an adult elephant seal gets grumpy!

Elephant seal pups are actually abandoned by their mothers after about 4 weeks. It's pretty typical for the babies to search for comfort after this happens, which is why they'll often approach humans if one happens to be nearby right after abandonment.

外围体育投注That’s the size of adult females though. You best run if the male comes cause they weigh well over a ton.

外围体育投注They can't move fast on land. I spent some time out watching them for a zoology course. The males fight often but watching them ramp up to the fight is hilarious. The "run" at each other which consists of them moving towards each other for maybe 15-20 yards and then having to stop for a rest. It took them about 3-4 rests before they finally reach each other. He'd have plenty of time to get away.

The irony, the Karen-like behavior. "My child came up to you and started poking you, so im going to attack you for harassing my chile."

外围体育投注Wildlife photographers have the one of the hardest jobs in the world. Not petting the animals requires the strongest.

外围体育投注My spouse won't even let me be alone while camping because he knows I'll try to hug something and probably end up dead.

So what's the rule on the not petting thing. I know you don't want to get to comfortable around wild animals because they can turn in an instance. But in this case if you read the situation and can pat his head even for a second, if he lets you could you? Is it a faux pas or more just a safety thing? I don't know if I could resist
