App Development

Really need advice and an actual developer. Location services, social media, and facial recognition seem key to my idea.

It’s a passion project. I have ideas but mostly general. I have notes and a layout. I have access to money. I may have more soon. Millions more.

外围体育投注I don’t want to give much information or detail without assurance of a confidentiality agreement. Yes, I realize you can’t protect an app completely.

外围体育投注This idea seems superbly obvious, easy to create and also widely necessary to me. Granted, I’ve had a very different life from most. I’ve traveled a lot and been through really bad situations. I am just so far off from your average stay at home mom or woman or human.

I graduated high school in the top 2% of my class. I got a 34 on the ACT and a 1490 on the SAT. I did well at Ball State in their honors college. Personal issues prevented me from finishing.

外围体育投注I know this is a good idea. I think it could help a lot of people. It doesn’t seem hard to develop. I simply don’t know enough about how to make it work.

I’ve researched whether or not anyone else thought of this for over three years. They haven’t. Let me know if anyone has any interest. Tell me how we assure confidentiality and I’ll pay a lawyer to see it up.

I’ll put in all the initial cost and work tirelessly. It would be a relief from cleaning and laundry.

I know it sounds crazy, but I don’t trust big companies who want ideas and don’t personally know anyone who can do what I need. Make me trust you.

Where did you start? What got you into it? What was your first project like? Just curious to hear other peoples stories.

Hello I'm new to this subreddit and have looked but haven't found anything. Is there a post that i'm not finding where it points people who are just getting started in the right direction, or a list of good available resources like free or paid courses?

Probably a very over asked question, but I want to download Xcode but I’m on windows. I don’t want to spend money to rent out a Mac service and I’m lost on how to use a virtual box. Should I just wait to get a Mac?

When publshing an app with lots of features, should only some of them be released while the app gains some traction? And then as the app gains more users, gradually release some of the other features?

外围体育投注I'm not sure if having too many features starting out might overwhelm users and they just won't use the app. Plus if you have features ready and release them later on they can be announced and could draw more users or gain current ones attention because theyre new.

This is all speculation, but for an app with lots of features, what's the proper way to do this?

This is what i plan to do ahead, any kind of feedback appreciated.

外围体育投注Quick background about me.

外围体育投注I've been into Native Android for a few months then moved into Flutter for a year.

Have completed multiple freelance projects. I'm still in colg so lot to learn.

外围体育投注My plan of action :

外围体育投注=> Join an appdev startup/company and understand how they work, how code is produced, build network and learn how marketing works etc.

=> Open my own company with a few devs, and work my way up eventually.

I talked to a guy who did the same and he is making around $500k per year, and he says that there is room for more growth by making products (that can be sold or SAAS subscription based products etc. ).

外围体育投注I stay in the US.

外围体育投注Is this plan ok? Or am i generalizing too much? I do freelancing and the demand for apps seems to be increasing everyday.

外围体育投注I have been working with a team to develop an app to teach English as a second language. This app already has video conferencing features and they work fine, but the team seems to be struggling with implementing the lessons.

外围体育投注Let me explain: We have interactive lessons that are designed in HTML5. The idea is the teacher can push buttons in the lessons and play some sounds/animations, and the students watch (they do not interact with the lesson). I didn't think it would be hard to implement something like this, as it's basically like an online game. You know how if you play chess or cards online, you go into the same online "room" and you can see what the other person is doing? I thought the app could be developed something like this, and since online games have been around since the dawn of the internet, I didn't think it would be so hard to implement. Yet this team is really struggling with it.

Their original idea was to play the lessons on my phone and mirror the screen to students' phones, but I'm sure you know the quality is terrible along with the lag and other problems. I keep insisting that what I want is for the lessons to be online, and the teacher and students can see the same online "room", but after a month of trying, they still can't do it.

Am I crazy? Is what I'm asking for really so hard to do? I just want the teachers and students to see the same online screen, which is showing our custom lessons in HTML5 format, and the teacher can manipulate the screen, and the students observe. It seems like such a simple requirement, or am I wrong?
