I pulled a SL-D2 direct drive turntable out of the trash, seized up, not working. Managed to free the shaft, clean it up and re oil. Works, but wow is terrible. Cleaned, even replaced trim pots, and a couple of caps, but issue remains. Any clues what could be wrong?
Hey all, I have a SL-1700 which I have used for about 2 years now. It needed some deoxit when I first bought it, naturally, but as time has gone on the speed issues have crept up again and again. When I the platter first starts rotating there will be dramatic speed fluctuations that normally persist for about a minute. Last night they were almost incessant however. Today I decided to pop it open once more and both deoxited and blew out some dust with an air compressor. Initially, I thought I fixed it. I was feeling brave so I used my anti-stat brush before spinning a record. I had no issue until introducing the anti-stat brush, but the table has difficulty returning to proper speed after the drag from the brush goes away. So I think the issue is gone as far as dirty contacts, but I wonder if there is some other issue that basically forbids me from introducing drag to the platter, such as an anti-stat brush. The platter is propelled by magnets, and I wonder if the issue lies there. If anyone has any firsthand experience here, I would love some help. If I can't use an anti-stat brush, so be it, but this seems like an issue that shouldn't be present. Thanks!
外围体育投注I got a a Bose wave radio(awrc1p) and everything works except the CD player. I adjusted the potentiometer underneath the board and got the drive to read the disc and cycle through the tracks however there was no sound.. so I turned the potentiometer a bit more afterwards and then it stopped reading the disc. Tried for 2 hrs trying to get back to the position where it at least spun to no avail.
Using a cell phone camera I can still see that the laser lights up so I don't think it's burnt.. any ideas??
Hi all, work is throwing out a pair of SV 500's and I thought I'd take them home and try my hand at repairing them. They both "function" but they're super fuzzy on the low end. One of them has what looks to be a ceramic capacitor, but I can't find any data on it's markings: "Massuse LD" on one side, the obverse reads: "GBX 160" it's maybe smaller than a US dime... But not by much. one is intact, the other has a nice split down it's circumference.
I'll be swapping out these components, whatever they are, to see if that fixes one. What else should I look for?
外围体育投注I recently bought new headphones and I would like to use my old detachable mic from Hyperx Cloud 2. I bought an extender cable 3.5mm jack and tried to connect it to my pc but it doesn't seem to be working.
I tried: a) plugging it alone (without extender) b) plugging it with extender c) plugging it to hyperx cloud 2 usb sound card d) plugging it to my external sound card
Nothing of the above worked. I could see it in my sound devices but it didn't register any sounds.
Any ideas? Thanks!
外围体育投注Hi y’all. The imgur has a picture of the front displaying the individual speakers which I assume are the channels. It also has a picture of the model information.
外围体育投注One of the two speaker boxes I own won’t play from the lowest or the second lowest speakers(channels?). I checked the wires leading to each channel and where they connect inside the box to the speaker wire module. All connections seem intact. I’ve switched audio sources and speaker wires and have gotten the same result of no audio out of those two channels. Any suggestions on how to get them playing again?
